Help for Daniel

Daniel Ogram is a typical 11 year old boy. He plays soccer, belongs to the local Boy Scout troop, and loves video games and the Philadelphia Eagles. He is one of 5 children, and has an incredibly loving and supportive family.

In December 2008, Daniel went to the doctor with a headache, and was diagnosed with an agressive form of brain cancer. Fortunately, the cancer was caught early and his prognosis is very encouraging. However, Daniel will need to complete a lengthy course of chemotherapy and radiation to assure that his recovery is complete.

As Daniel's hospital visits and rehabilitation sessions grow numerous, so do the bills and financial obligations for Daniel's family.

On March 27, Daniel's community came together at a Dinner and Silent Auction at the Old Mill in Rose Valley, PA, to show our support for Daniel and his family. Local efforts helped raise over $38,000 to help Daniel's family defray the cost Daniel's medical treatment. It was a great event, for a great cause.
